Terms of Service

1. Service Description

GingerCover is a web-based book cover design tool. You can design covers for free. Purchasing a package removes the watermark and grants you an exclusive image license for the stock art used in your design.

2. Account

You must create an account to save projects. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Image License

Each purchase includes a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the cover design and any included Ginger Vault stock images for your book. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the raw stock images separately.

4. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change. You will always see the current price before completing a purchase.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your text, layouts, and uploaded images. GingerCover retains ownership of the platform, templates, and Ginger Vault stock art library. Your purchased license grants usage rights as described in Section 3.

6. Prohibited Use

• You may not use the service to create covers containing illegal content
• You may not attempt to extract or scrape the Ginger Vault image library
• You may not share your account with others

7. Limitation of Liability

GingerCover is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for printing errors, file compatibility issues, or third-party platform rejections. We recommend running the built-in preflight check before submitting your cover to any platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
